OGO 100 won't power up?? - it may be the new batteries!!!

You may recall my recent call for help when my OGO refused to even glimmer
after a battery change. I tried a whole load of things including a full
reboot, removing all batteries [I DO do regular backups on 2 PCs!!] etc. -
all to no avail.

I rang the HP hand held support here in UK and they quickly asked if I was
using Duracell Alkaline cells - I was - they are a problem. Use ANYTHING
else with high power ratings. I have had no problems with Boots [a UK
pharmacy/drugstore chain] own brand.
