Don't know about dlite, but I used diet with some success.
I can compress both dos executable files, goes (.geo) ones and help
files. You could also comrpress date files which are write/read by
applications but I experencied some troubles with this. But be warning:
setting up this (very nice) utility with some wrong parameter or
compressing wrong files can hung up the og and you'll need a full reset
(all data lost!!!). So it is better to backup everything before start
playing with diet.

PS: the og is so slow you won't notice a big difference ;). Well, really,
it just a little bit slower but you can live with it...
