An external modem will work, too, but one problem is getting the OK
response at all. This is due to fact that the Ogo cannot work with the
modem's DTR (data terminal ready) facility; it must be overridden by
software command ("&D0" may work) or by DIP switch.

The screen echo can be temporarily disabled in Ogcomm, so that the
buffer is irrelevant. Or so I presume. (I forgot the command for this;
sorry).
