Sounds like Michael's program could solve my problem too.

Do you know where I could get my hands on Michael Halleen's program =
called GDBIO.EXE, or alternatively, what Michael's email address might =
be so I can ask him?

Thanx

The app from Michael actually contains a small DOS program called
GDBIO.EXE which does the work of tranlsating .GDB files to ASCII and
vice versa. You can use this program on its own and then manually import
into Excel. Michaels program GDBCONV just gives a nicer user interface
and direct translation to Excel.
