Just a couple more things - the tab key is down below the shift key. BAD place to be if you are trying to touch type in a database. Usable memory is pretty small - I have about 20 records added so far in my phonebook - have about 257k of usable memory. There are a couple of sample items in each app that HP puts in there - a CD database, an expense template in the spreadsheet etc. But out of the 1 meg of ram - I think the best you can get is about 300k of storage to start with. The spread sheet is pretty powerful - not the fastest but again, it is noticably faster than anything I have seen on the MP120 - (napkin, quick figure etc). Graffitti is GREAT. You can move the input box anywhere on the screen, including partially off the screen and it still accepts input. Also, you can shrink it down to a small, movable toolbar to take up less screen space. And the buttons, such as cap, # input, etc have been changed to make them move intuitive. You do have to be careful with input th
o - I have had some problem with it reading my initial touch as a tap which then puts it in punctuation mode. Just something to get used to. The rotation function is great. It is almost instantaneous! I expect that most people will input data via the key board to start with - all their phone #'s etc. but then everyday use will find them with the pen and the screen rotated. I have found using it in a "book" mode very comfortable. In other words, I don't fold the screen all the way around. I think I get a better grip and I am reminded of the hinge problems on the LX's - Although, this hinge system is completely different. After 3 hours....I LOVE IT - but again it will NOT replace an LX - I think that those people who use only the PIM functions of the LX or who are intimidated with the DOS prompt, file system etc. will find the OG to be a great option. This really is the Macintosh of organizers. Nothing but push the icon and go to work. No worries with heap space, etc.
Just my 2 cents:)
