Overall: It does it's job well. It's missing a lot of features that the HP200LX had, but when I'm honest about it, I didn't use those anyway. Examples: no AC connection; no IR. And it's a closed, fixed-focus system, much like the casio's and sharp's on the market.
Battery life is much poorer than on the 200lx. I got about 2 months on a pair of alkalines with the lx. My original lithium AA's (came with the unit) only lasted 2 weeks. I put some alkalines in the other day...we'll see how long those last.
I've got one more outstanding worry. I have 700+ phone numbers in comma-delimited form, which I've downloaded from my lx and have to get into the og. I haven't been able to upload to the og yet, due to the unavailability of the connectivity pack. When I do, I'm worried the machine will be a dog. We'll see.
