How to use a SRAM card

So what's the secret of using an SRAM card for the Notepad, Spreadsheet, etc.

I can understand how you can back up to the SRAM card, and I've place the IZL app in the SRAM's \WORLD directory and it seem to run just fine. However, I think that the real pay-off is to be able to the Notepad app out of ROM and save to the SRAM. Is this possible, or will we need to wait for a File Manager to copy the Apps onto the SRAM card?
