I have had my OmniGo for about 2 weeks and in general am very pleased with it. I agree with previous comments that one's satisfaction will depend on its intended use. I am using it to replace my "Franklin" system as I find the OmniGo much more portable and with a better feature set. I do not need it to replace my laptop for example.

Its size, usability, feature set, battery life, speed and solid feel are thusfar quite nice. I enjoy its multitasking ability and the ability to enter data with keyboard or pen. Using an SRAM card is also quite easy and worked flawlessly. The screen size is adequate. The screen readability or brightness is the only area where the OmniGo did not meet my expectations. Nevertheless, I find I do not need to use it in low light situations anyway so I have had little if any problem with reading the screen. I am keeping my OmniGO.

I look forward to obtaining a serial connection cable, reading others' comments, obtaining 3rd party software and perhaps finding a way to improve screen brightness.
