Just Got One

I got one for my birthday and like it a lot. It's not as powerful as my brother's 200lx but it is easy to use and a lot of fun, it's cool. The screen was hard to read at first but I got used to it within a couple of days and it's fine. What I don't want to happen is for HP to obsolete these as quickly as they did the first Omnibook ( I have one). Everyone is saying how inexpensive these are and I don't agree. An LX for $500.00 that will run DOS for years is a better value than the OmniGo at $350, if HP obsoletes the OMNIGO quickly. Secondly, will I ever be able to send and receive E-mail, or send faxes from this machine? If not, that is a serious flaw. I don't want to wait (and pay) for The Next One, when this one should have been designed to do just that.
