Disappointment

I am a farily tolerant individual but I have become very disillusioned by my OmniGo the longer I live with it. First I must say that I have had my unit since the second week of November. It has lived through one recall that I must admit was associated with excellent responsiveness from the HP folks. That incident itself was associated, however with the loss of over two hundred phone numbers. I have since reentered that information and a lot more but I feel that it still has some serious annoyances (besides the difficult to read display and poor communications and file interchange issues). Most notably I am upset by the odd states of inoperability that I seem to deal with at times. It appears that whenever the unit starts to act nonresponsive to certain key of penstrokes, it means that it is time to go through a soft reboot. Unless I have learned how it should be operating, I would not know at times that the problem is that the feature is not supported or that it needs to be re
booted. I am also upset that after having spent a fair amount of time loading an equation into solver and saving it on my SRAM card, restoring "finance"files from the SRAM card did not restore the solve requation (odd!). These are quirks that some people can live with but can also grow out of prooportion due to the frustration caused. Hopefully HP and GEOWORKS will get their act together. Meanwhile I will keep my eye out for better solutions if they don't. 'nuff said!
