Sorry about all of those messages from someone's stupid mail gateway.
Mail gateways are supposed to recognize and use instructions in the
mail header which direct errors to something other than the mailing
list, because otherwise the error messages themselves cause more errors
(as we've just seen). Anyhow, I removed the offending address and will
compose an angry message to the owners of that particular mail gateway.
I'm just glad I checked my mail this evening -- I'm in New Orleans
at SIGGRAPH and don't have that many chances to log in!
