There are several informational files for the installation on Win95 machines
at www.newdealinc.com. The newer versions of GEOS, including New Deal
Office, require no special tricks for installation under W95 but the older
ones do. Two that come to mind are:
1) Type at the DOS prompt/in a DOS box:
Setver c:\windows\command loader.exe 5.00
and restart the system.
Device=c:\windows\Setver.exe
must be in config.sys
or
c:\windows\setver
must be in autoexec.bat.
2) In GEOS.INI, change true to false under
[system]
continueSetup = true

Let us know what error occurs and we may be able to provide more detailed
information. Also check comp.os.geos.misc, where NDSteve is very responsive
to such questions.
