I used the Casio repair center in New Jersey when my screen failed and they
replaced it for $30.00 plus shipping. That was three years ago, so I don't
know what the charge would be now or even if they can still repair Zoomers,
but it's worth trying, I guess. I don't have a phone number, but the
address is (was?):

Casio Inc. Repair Center
570 Mount Pleasant Ave.
Dover, NJ 07801

I just got a Psion Series 5 to replace my Zoomer. Although not as
pocketable as a Pilot, it's still an awesome machine: it's got a keyboard I
can actually touch type on (in a case substantially smaller than a
Zoomer!), 640x240x16 touch-sensitive LCD with backlight, and a ton of
really useful applications (word processor, spreadsheet, paint program,
audio record and playback, excellent PIM functions, VT100 emulator,
built-in hyper-BASIC programming language, spell checker, thesaurus). It's
very fast, too. No HWR, but someone has already released an alpha-test
version of a Graffiti style shareware application. My only disappointment
so far is that there is no Solitaire and no Pyramid. :-)

(Apologies for the relatively unrelated advert.)
