They did have something called a "Red-Eye" (I think) over in a clearance
bin, though nothing in stock. As it came "as is" I wasn't going to
shell $40 unless I knew it was Zoomer-friendly.
It did seem, however, that IR ports are available and used to go from
tabletop to laptop. Has anyone tried going to a Zoomer with one? It
came with driver software, but would the PC apps like PalmConnect or a
shareware piece be able to use it just like the serial cable?
P.S. The guy looked through his computer and said they DID list an
RS-232 to RS-232C (Zoomer!) adapter for $5! But they didn't have any.
In fact, he said they didn't stock it. Nor could he get me one. But it
was in the computer. Well, that was helpful. Wonder what that computer
will dream up next.
