For those who may not understand what we are talking about, CTTY allows
DOS to redirect it's input and output to a device other than the console
display. Unfortunately, the DOS on the Zoomer (Datalight) doesn't support
it. When I ran it (just to make sure :) it returns "invalid device". I
tried all combinations of names (COM1 com1 COM1: com1: com ser).
Perhaps OG users can use this function? It'd would be really neat if it
worked. One other solution may be to try to run a different version of
DOS on the Zoomer. I haven't tried this yet, but it may be possible.
(CTTY can also be set up when executing command.com, just use the device
as a parameter. I haven't tried that on the Zoomer yet either).
It sounds like you just need to enter text on the PC and transfer it
using one of the many methods. Alternatively you could run GeoComm or
similar and capture the text.
