Stacker & PC-Card

I am getting !@#$%^&*( frustrated with stacking my Zoomer pc-card (the usual GRID 1-meg
card from Surplus Technologies). I have followed all the instructions I can find
(including Arthur Tyde's very clear posting) - the card comes up as stacked, and will
show the contents, but as soon as I try to open anything it pops up the message "Please
insert disk STACVOL.DSK into drive C" followed by "The target of this link has been
moved or deleted. Error Code: FM-44" I've tried renaming the unstacked card, renaming
STACVOL.DSK, editing the container file (I was desperate at that point!), putting
stacker.com etc. in B: and stacking the card in situ, and several other combinations and
variations that I've now forgotten, all without success. Anyone got any ideas about why
none of this is working? Pretty please?
