Back Orders at RS

Well, it appears that not only has RS run out of Palm Connects (per previous note) but they are out of most everything else as well. The RS in Thousand Oaks NOW tells me that my replacement stylus's won't be a 2 week back order but an "I don't know when they'll be in because they're on back order and the holidays will probably make it longer" back order. The manager of the store caught me out in the mall to ARGUE about when he had promised delivery.

Listen folks out there in support land. The key to the "PDA WAR" is gonna be aftermarket support NOT out of the box functionalities. If y'all can't get me a couple of stylus's then WHY should I turn to you for PCMCIA cards, modems, etc. Has Zoomer sold THAT many units that the national warehouse for RS is on "forever" back order or did they wait too long to order their first shipments. Without support this product is going to be the "BETA" to Newton's "VHS".
