Sundisk Card

I have a Sundisk 5Meg PCMCIA card that I was using in my notebook. So I tried it in my brandy-new Zoomer, and guess what? I can see all the files on it from my Notebook!

Sez I, "This is going to be great", but alas, all is not well. I can take stuff OFF of the card, but I can't put anything ON the card. I keep getting a message that says the card is write protected and to move the switch on the card to allow write access.

Of course, there is no switch on the card.

It's a Type II PCMCIA card, designed to work in most notebooks (I use it in my NEC Versa with no trouble). The Zoomer can read the files with no trouble, but refuses to allow me to format or put anything on the card. Anyone got any ideas?

Best Regards

PS. The AT&T paradyne Keep in touch card (14.4 Data/FAX) will not work in the Zoomer. I get the message "cannot use this card." Is this because it draws too much current?
