More than file transfer

The "file transfer" software that Radio Shack sells with a serial cable isn't just file transfer software. The package they sell is PalmConnect. The software backs up and restores the Zoomer files, but it also includes the Datebook, Address book and Notebook applications from the Zoomer. PalmConnect facilitates desktop entry of information for use on the Zoomer via the keyboard and through the ability to import .CSV files from databases, etc. into the PalmAddress app. Since all of the apps in PalmConnect may be open simultaneously, information may be transferred between them.
While we highly reccommend the Geoworks SDK for software dev't, it's not the same as PalmConnect.
