Another problem (and what's kept me from buying the GEOS SDK) may be that it requires two computers to develop software for the Zoomer. Although one of them can be a Zoomer, I've been told that this setup is impractical for all but the smallest applications.
I have two Macs, but only one PC. By the time I bought the SDK, a CD-ROM drive for the PC, a second PC, and spent the time to learn everything I'd need to know (including online time to ask questions not answered by the manuals), I'd have to be pretty sure that I had an idea that was going to produce a decent return on my investment.
