A couple of months ago (in a previous life) I was using that modem to sign on to AOL and play around in the Z7000 support areas. The modem worked fine and I can't remember *any* problems with it at all. The modem is a modified version of AMT's StartCard data/fax PCMCIA card. If you plan on using the modem on any other platform (e.g. a palmtop PC Card slot) you should find out if the modifications will cause any problems.
