A/C Adapter Polarity?

Hi! Bought a Zoomer about 3 weeks ago, just bought an A/C power adapter today. The instructions for the adapter say you can set it for positive or negative tip polarity. The Zoomer manual does not say which way to set it.
Does it matter? If so which way should it be set?
