There may be a problem with your suggestion - the Zoomer cable I have (from the PalmConnect package) has a proprietary plug on one end, and a DB9 on the other. So the Zoomer cable needs to mate to a 9 pin connector, not 25. If funkeng has the modem cable, your recommendation should work.
