Under SoftPC. The mac's serial connection becomes com1: plug in the mac end into the serial port of the Mac (has a picture of a phone handset) The other end (25 pin male) then needs to be converted to the adapter radio shack sells to adapt 25 pin female to 9 pin male. The palmconnect db9 plugs into the adapter, the adapter plugs into the printer end of the cable and the mac connector to mac. Then run zoomcom and select com1: as your connection and this should work. If I remember correctly, the imagewriter cable is already wired null-modem with 2 and 3 pins crossed.
