New To It All...

HI. I just purchased a new Z-PDA, and so far I love it. But I'm lost when it comes to transferring files to my PC. The manual says only, "compatible Transfer Software." What is? I don't have GEOS or PalmConnect. Will one of my regular telecomm programs work? Or the transfer on my Norton Commander? Or Windows 3.1 Terminal? I'm afraid to try before I know more about what I'm doing.
The AOL section works great. I rigged it to my Cardinal external modem (say, the modem's beggier than the Zoomer!:) ) and it worked fine, although I noticed the live chat option was absent...I wonder why :) But can I use the Zoomer and modem to call anyplace else, or am I stuck with just AOL forever. Not a bad fate, but I could use a little variety.
At any rate, I am taking it to a conferecne with me in a couple days, and I need any help anyone can give me ASAP. Please! I'm desperate here!
