PalmConnect is designed to both backup/restore your files between the PDA & PC, and to provide the Palm Organizer applications on the PC for data entry/editing.
There is a ZDOS utility in the software library which provides straight backup of files to the PC, but does not provide the ability to edit/look at them.
The Zoomer only communicates with the PC via File Transfer or File Linking which are both proprietary to the underlying Geos operating system. Other Windows or PC programs don't support these.
Look in the software library for ZCOMM Lite for a terminal emulator to get access to email and networks other than AOL.
