I'm a little confused. SandorG. After setting up ZAOL to use the PCMCIA modem, does it still not work? Have you tried using the modem with ZCommLite (available here in the software libraries) to connect to a BBS or anything? (If it doesn't work, maybe the card is broken/defective....)

(I won't ask why anyone would choose a PCMCIA modem instead of a normal serial modem for the Zoomer, when it uses up the one slot available for storage....)

Jeff, re KILR and email on the Zoomer... there's onscreen help available right in ZAOL. There's more help available once you sign on. Does KILR have specific questions about how to use the mail feature? I've taken a Zoomer with me on business trips and used it for my AOL email. Email doesn't get much more simple than on AOL. For all intents, it functions just like it does from the desktop versions of AOL. You just tap where you'd click on the desktop, and you can use the floating keyboard or the handwriting recognition to compose mail. You can read ASCII files attached to email using the notepad built into ZAOL on the Zoomer (as long as they are not too large.)
