Are you accessing a 2400 baud number? The 9600 numbers didn't work for me even though I set my Zoomer for 2400. Call AOL and get a 2400 baud # for your area.

And are you sure that the problem isn't that you are dialing a frequently used # that simply has all available nodes filled when you connect? That happens to me a lot lately with the increases number of users of AOL.
