I had same problem of timeout error -- managed to work around it manually, but I wish I'd seen Chris' message first. Another problem I wonder if anyone else has had: I can't get the keyboard to pop up on top of the directory "dialog box", so as to type in new BBS names and numbers -- have to enter them by hand.
