Hi,
I'd recommend holding off on the PCMCIA modem purchase because for about a week. I am working with the vendors to have a new driver released that will allow other PCMCIA modems to work in the Zoomer.

Since AMT is in bankruptcy, the AMT Starcards are in limited supply. I recommend that you purchase an external pocket modem and a PCMCIA ram card - either Sundisk SDP5 or Maxtor MobileMax. These are somewhat expensive -$200 and up, for 2mb and up.

If I find a cheaper source for the PCMCIA cards, I will post the information here.
