Hi,
At the present time only the AMT Starcard (2400 baud Data/9600 baud FAX) will work with the Zoomer. Casio is in the final process of certifying a new generic serial driver that will allow many more modems to work with the Zoomer. Check the milliampere rating on your Intel Modem though, it still may be too high (most are 250ma or more!)
