You can use your existing account by signing on for the first time, type in your Screen Name and password. It will then retain the information for future sessions.
About the rest, I don't think there is a way to get on-line except for dialing AOL directly on one of its lines. I am not sure if AOL has international numbers but I am pretty sure that calling cards are out of the question.
