Here is every question that I can think to ask about the Zoomer:
Is the Zoomer's screen back lit? If not, how can it be read in low lighting
situations? How does one program the Zoomer? If it is Dos compatible, does
that mean that it will run Dos applications? How fast is the Zoomer's Intel
compatible CPU? How does its processing speed compare to Newton's? What
impact do you think that Newton will have upon the sales of Zoomer given that
Newton will hit the market two months before Zoomer for about the same price?
What kinds of data can you beam between Zoomers? Can you beam applications?
Will there be an IR device which can be connected to a PC so that users can
beam data to their PCs if they are in the same room rather than having to
hook up a cable? Is there going to be more than one type of Zoomer? Will
Newtons and Zoomers be able to beam data to each other? One meg of onboard
RAM seeams very limited. Will there be a way to add on extra RAM without
using up the PCMCIA slot? Geos looks nice but what happens if there are
bugs? Is there a way to update the ROMS of the Zoomer? Apple plans to use
the PowerPC 603 CPU in its future Newton PDAs. Does Casio/Tandy have similar
plans to boost the performance of future versions of the Zoomer? What
differences, if any, will there be between the Tandy and Casio versions of
the Zoomer? Will there be any price difference?
