That's great. I always felt Byte gave very accurate and unbiased assessments
of whatever it is they are reviewing. Since I don't understand half of what
they are talking about, I figure they must know what they are talking about.

Also, As a result of a letter I sent to Stewart Alsop at Infoworld, they
called me and asked some questions about PDA's in general. The author (whose
article is found in last Monday's issue on the Newton), was oblivious to the
Zoomer. Even though I spent 90 percent of my time talking about the Zoomer,
the only issue I was quoted on was that there was no keyboard and that the
only thing useful for a PDA was to "jot things down." Well, I would like to
go on record here that I thought the Zoomer was much more exciting to me
than Newton (Message Pad) and that this was a whole new technology with all
kinds of implications. I also gave Geoworks a good account as being the
perfect OS for this type of device. Oh well (sigh), since the article was
about the Newton, I guess this information will just have to come in another
article.
