Infoworld is owned by International Data Group. Now that my loss of memory
is showing...is it PCWeek that's owned by ZiffDavis? Yes, Infoworld was the
first to report MiS DOS 6.0 problems after everyone gave it glowing reviews
(makes me wonder just how much they test these things...). Hey, have you seen
Stac Electronics add with that article in it? Hehe, that was good! And wasn't
Infoworld the one who closed out Zackermann (sp) for his like of OS/2? (He's
writing for the OS/2 mag now I heard). The first thing I used to read was
Robert X. Cringely then Zackermann, LOL!

Keep reading your Byte, soon you will know computers and in a balanced way,
not narrowly. Maybe too well tho, I can't stand to read PC Rag anymore with
all the errors/omitions/use only MiS products attitude:-).

I think you bring up a good point when he asked "what ever will we do with no
keyboard?" Remember back in the days that PC's started and mainframes where
king. People asked the same thing, "what ever will we do with 64K RAM and a
10MB hard drive sitting on your desk connected to nothing?" Well, time has
given us the answer to that:-) And not very many companies that made
mainframes/mainframe software have survived to make it in the PC market
today. It's the start of another change in the industry.

I personally don't think many people that use PC's now days are going to make
the change very quickly. It will be a new set of consumers that pickup on
PDA's first, the rest will be dragged in (probably kicking and screaming "But
I like lugging this Laptop around!" or "All my programs need 8 megs of RAM!")
later.
Hoping to be PDA'ing soon,
