I think many will find the Zoomer/Z-PDA as a very useful and fun to use
assistant. It has more built-in features than the Newton where you must
purchase more and more applications (when they are available) to match the
features of the Zoomer. The major advantages of the Newton is the
"assistant", the handwriting recongnition, although recognizing printed
writing is usually sufficient, and the synchronizing feature of the
connectivity pack.
With the lack of sufficient built-in applications, the Newton should have had
much more memory installed in the factory.
