I agree with you. While some clever soul may find a way to get a word
processor on the Zoomer, I cannot for the life of me understand why someone
would want to use it for that purpose.
I think the Zoomer (and to be fair, other PDAs) will be absolutely be
revolutionary in two areas:
1) aiding the information manager, as previously mentioned in messages;
and...
2) providing a way to put a powerful - albeit specialized - computer into a
non-obtrusive, socially exceptable situation. Lets face it, there are times
when you cant just whip out your notebook computer and start tapping away.
But you WILL be able to quietly take notes (or fill out forms, or...what have
you) with a Zoomer.
