I wasn't aware that AOL charged a minute... back in my "regular customer
days," I was only charged for the actual time online.
I'm trying to verify the 1 minute min., but under the new rates, you get 5
hrs free time each month. After that, max charge is $0.05 per minute ($3.50
per hour) ANYTIME of day. Plus, there are no surcharges for using Internet,
and you can attach files to mail without extra charges. If you factor the 5
hrs. in, you will find we are the most economical service.
Besides, I don't think you'll find the Palmtop/PDA support on GEnie is quite
as good as here on AOL! <grin>
