Thanks for your replies regarding my search for Lector, with special
thanks going to its author, Clemens Kochinke. Clemens was kind enough
to send me a uuencoded, self-extracting LECTOR.COM file containing the
program and accompanying documentation. Clemens also mentioned plans of
putting the package at
but on recent inspection, I was unable to find it there. As a result,
I've requested that it be added to
ftp://ftp.biostat.washington.edu/pub/zoomer
In the meantime, I will entertain (as long as my patience and employer
allow :-) email requests from those of you wishing to examine this
program.
Lastly, Gary Gertley mentioned another source of Zoomer and GEOS
resources that I was unfamiliar with:
CyberPort BBS (408) 227-1635
I have not tried to dial in so I have no idea what you may find there.

P.S. I will register my copy of Lector as soon as I can locate my
checkbook.
