The observed behavior of alarms not triggering if the Datebook file
is not in the Document folder is true. The Alarm application only
looks at Document folders for alarm conditions.

However, if you put your Datebook in the proper path on the memory
card it will work correctly. Create a file structure on the card
like this:

C:\GEOWORKS\DOCUMENT\

and move your Datebook there. Alarms should work correctly.

This "parallel structure" approach also allows files on the memory
card to be seen in the B[internal] as though they were actually in
the internal memory, and the applications will be able to
access them as though they were there.
