I'm using Stacker Anywhere (SA) to mount the compressed volume of the
PCMCIA card. Starting with one of the subversions of Stacker 3 (and
definely in Stacker 4), the one can specify a command to execute after
loading SA. One can put the SA command in the autoexec.bat (any Stacker
>= 3.x would probably work here), or in PENRIGHT.BAT on the PCMCIA card
(along with SA on the uncompressed portion -- you'd need a later 3.x
or 4.x version to make that trick work.)

Note that using SA, no "phantom drive" exists. It really has been quite a
nice solution for me.
