Re: Using rechargeable batteries?

The recommendation to use alkaline batteries is because rechargeables,
typically NiCads, have poor voltage stability as they discharge. Other types
of rechargeables may have better voltage performance.

I have had my Zoomer since the beginning of November, and I am only on my
third set of batteries. That includes the initial set which I threw away as
soon as I figured out they had been in there a year. To me, the potential for
problems with rechargeables wasn't worth it.
