Quick Shuffle Games

Hi,

Just wanted to update everyone on a price item. I just received the
Quick Shuffle PCMCIA game card from GeoWorks which was listed in the Feb
11 FAQ as $34.95 (plus $6.95 shipping). The price I was quoted and which
I was billed for by GeoWorks was $19.99 + $6.95(shipping) + $2.22(CA tax),
a price drop by almost $15.

For those of you who haven't bought this yet, there are 4 card games on a
PCMCIA card (poker, match pairs, hearts, black jack) which can be
transferred to your primary SRAM or FLASH card (if you have +300K to spare)

The bulk of the space is taken by the .WAV files used for sound effects
during the games (finally a reason to have the speaker aside from the clock
alarm). In contrast, the solitaire and pyramid games included with the
zoomer don't appear to use any sound effects.

I don't much care for card games, but my wife and daughter seem to enjoy
these and say they're the best reasons for having bought the zoomer!
