I have had the exact same thing happen to me. I was considering
getting a Newton 1MB SRAM card last quarter, so I sauntered into our
campus' little Macintosh shop, checked on the price and availibility, and
then had to pay off a debt elsewhere. Last week, I had an extra $60 I was
saving for the 1MB card, strolled into the Mac store again, and was
informed that Apple was not selling that particular card anymore. They
only had Flash RAM cards. The 1MB was about $90 or $100, and the 2MB was
around $120. Needless to say, I have not gotten my PCMCIA card, yet. I'm
still looking.
Does anyone know where I can get those 1MB SRAM cards? Or whether or
not I even CAN get them from somewhere?
