Details of GEOS.INI and NET.INI?

Does a description of all the parms in GEOS.INI and NET.INI and their valid
values exist? I've found some useful tips in the FAQ and various FTP sites,
and am interested in learning more.

Also, I've seen references in postings to "the expert mode stuff". What
exactly is this? Is it just a quick way of saying "the various modifications
you can make to GEOS.INI"?
