It does sound like there is a corrupted record in the Datebook data
file. There is no recovery, except to restore from a recent backup.
Placement of the file on the Memory card should not make a
difference.

Regarding the issue of modifying the PalmOrganizer app. binaries to
allow user-selected fonts: Palm does not intend to do the research
or testing necessary to make this feature available.
