I've looked over the OG's autoexec.bat, it's geos.ini, it's
net.ini, and other various and sundry system files. And,
of course, I want to tinker.
I'm sure that there is some terribly clever and/or obvious
way to modify the GEOS.INI, and I havn't found it. I've
found diagnostic mode, I've found reinitialize-RAM-disk
mode. Because GEOS locks it's GEOS.INI while
running, what I need is a way to either (1) initiate a
DOS-level command (a batch file, or an executable), or
(2) have a GEOS program do whatever it needs to do to
to unlock & modify the ini file.
As the Zoomer crowd is generally a clever lot, I'm
wondering if anyone has already solved this puzzle.
You're welcome to respond directly to me & I'll post a
summary of responses to the list.
