You also get an Internet EMAIL address that allows internet mail to be
delivered directly to your Embarc card. You are charged by number of bytes
delivered, the area of delivery you select (specific Area Code vs.
Nationwide), and the urgency of delivery. (I have lowest priority delivery,
and it rarely takes more than 10-15 minutes)
================================================================
This has recently changed. The News & Technology selection is no longer
available. They're talking about 7 day/week USA Today delivery, but as a
user, I've heard no new information about price adjustment.
You can call 1-800-4EMBARC for further information.
I will say the EMAIL delivery is pretty sweet. The card has a selectable
audio/led notification, and uses 1 AAA cell which lasts about 30 days. It
will hold up to 128K of messages, and does not have to be in the Zoomer to
receive messages.
