A suggested enhancement to the mailing list software when it receives
unsubscribe messages on the <name>-list:

1. Filter these messages out, perform the unsubscribe, and don't forward
to list
2. Reply with some kind of electronic letter bomb, or something equally
irritating, like:
- 500 messages that look like the list software is in an infinate loop
- A personal letter scolding the sender, written by a 4th grade
Catholic school teacher
(forged of course). CC their parents if an email address is
available.
- Automatically add them to an Internet Unsubscribe Violators
mailing list, which has
messages sent out every day on the proper way to unsubscribe. To
get off this list
they have to send the proper unsubscribe message to the server one
time a day
for five days in a row.
