The system CAN'T be just "bumped up" by changing the clock crystal due to the
interfaces to the 3 to 5v converters required for the serial IO and the Infrar
ed. Also the crystal is used to drive the whole system internally via a
clock splitter!
AGAIN, AN UPGRADE WOULD REQUIRE A COMPLETE REPLACEMENT OF THE MOTHERBOARD,
AND THE RAM/ROM DAUGHTER CARD! Also, I suspect that it WON'T pass FCC Class
B requirements either at that speed!
